Tommy's Joynt has been a San Francisco icon since before I was born - 1947. Long may it and the colorful murals fly. I've enjoyed eating in this joint since I first arrived in the City in 1972. I try to get to it whenever I visit. I enjoy the huge beer selection, the sandwiches and the decor. Cafeteria style. SF characters abound. Danny would meet here after French class with his pretty sweet teacher who would drill him on the translation and proper pronunciation of back in French.
